PROXIA MES solutions at Ebnat
The key to effective processes
Ebnat has been a successful brush professional with an extensive product portfolio on the market since 1914 and today produces and sells a wide range of interdental, dental, household and industrial brushes with around 230 employees in Obertoggenburg. PROXIA has been supporting Ebnat since 2017 with its modular MES software to efficiently align the business with its objectives and support the team with improvements – in work preparation, production, production logistics, technical maintenance and external manufacturing.
Before: manual and on demand, after: transparency and predictability
The expectations of the MES system were high and were fully met. In addition to the experience of the MES partner, the modularity, flexible configuration options and user-friendliness of the software were important for Ebnat. From 2017/18, MDE was implemented on 71 systems, later BDE on 120 workstations and the TPM module. PROXIA PZE is also connected to the time recording software via an interface. The introduction of MES has resulted in very high system availability; there are significantly fewer queries and downtimes during operation and the processes are more transparent: In comparison, Ebnat can calculate a reduction in costs of approx. 2 man-years.
