MES Go live - classic

First of all, a very detailed and extensive specification sheet is created as a basis. Questions are clarified, such as "What is needed? How is the system set up and then used?" The principle of this method is to precisely define and document everything organizational in advance on paper. The actual, then directly productive MES system start takes place only after all parameters have been set.

MES Go live - Rapid Prototyping

This method of MES Implementation is much more practice-oriented and also much more efficient. This starts with a workshop in which only the rough sequence of the MES Implementation is worked out and recorded. Then, together with the customer, all real production data and orders are imported live, but on a test system. The functionality of the entire MES and the first results are thus immediately visible in the form of live data and evaluation. After that, the decision for the productive system is made. Necessary system optimizations are then carried out during live operation. Throughout the rapid prototyping process, documentation of customer-specific MES settings, comments, and setting instructions is provided. This documentation can be automatically visualized from the database at any time later.
