HMI (Human Machine Interface)

Human Machine Interface (HMI) interfaces enable intuitive and user-friendly interaction between man and machine. In production, HMI systems are used to control, monitor and visualize machines, systems and MES terminals.
Modern HMIs are characterized by ergonomic design, role-based user guidance and the ability to adapt to specific operating concepts. They make a decisive contribution to occupational safety, efficiency and acceptance of digital systems in production.

Example:
At a modern MES terminal in an injection molding production facility, the HMI interface enables operators to put machines into maintenance mode with a single click and quickly call up error analyses.
