Customizing

Customizing refers to the adaptation and individualization of software solutions to the specific requirements and processes of a company. In the MES world, this means configuring user interfaces, workflows, report formats and integrations with other systems (e.g. ERP, BDE, CAQ).
The benefits of a software solution can be maximized through professional customizing, as it is optimally adapted to the individual processes of the company. This increases efficiency, avoids errors and increases user acceptance.

Example:
A plastics processor has its MES system adapted so that the user interface is specially tailored to the employees’ training levels and interfaces with an existing ERP system.
