PROXIA Software AG is driving digitalization in the manufacturing industry forward with a decisive innovative step. The newly developed \u201cKnowledge Management\u201d module specifically supplements the existing MES system in the area of structured knowledge management. This provides manufacturing companies with a practical tool for systematically recording valuable know-how, organizing it centrally and making it available throughout the company.<\/p>

In contrast to conventional approaches, where knowledge is stored informally or in isolated systems, PROXIA relies on a fully integrated process: knowledge is captured directly at the machine, automatically structured thematically and played back at relevant points in the company. Not only documented content such as process descriptions can be taken into account, but also implicit knowledge gained from employees’ experience \u2013 a real step forward for knowledge transfer on the store floor. <\/p>

The modular structure makes it possible to integrate the exchange of knowledge into existing processes in a targeted manner. This benefits management, team leaders and production employees alike. In addition, the system supports company-wide development by taking on board feedback, ideas and suggestions for improvement in a structured manner \u2013 thereby promoting innovation. <\/p>

The main new feature is the strategic focus on knowledge assurance in production as part of digitalization. Companies that previously relied heavily on individual employee knowledge can now use the new PROXIA module to minimize risks, ensure quality and actively shape continuous improvement. <\/p>

The new knowledge management module is now available and can be seamlessly integrated into existing PROXIA MES landscapes. This provides companies with an effective tool to actively counter the shortage of skilled workers and demographic change.
